I have been a busy little bee making new items for my newly re-opened ebay store. Most things I am making are to decorate your porch with over the summer.
Today I made this gorgeous chair cushion!
You can buy this cushion here and many cooridinating items at my ebay store Vintage Pearl Textiles
I thought I would show you ways I have decorated my porch over the years. We have lived in our little cabin for 3 years now and the porch is what I fell in love with!
Enjoy!
Simple pink pillow ticking over 2 king size pillows make a wonderful porch swing cushion!
Vintage Barkcloth Era was sewed up and the king size pillows were put in them. I like to throw an old crocheted afghan over the back too!
This was a vintage Southern Belle tablecloth that I turned into a porch swing cushion!
A vintage chair I painted pink and made cushions for it out of a quilt!
Here I used a vintage chenille bedspread to make a cushion cover with!
Here I used vintage tablelcoths to make a cushion and a pillow!
Everyone should have an old pink washing machine on their porch! I planted flowers in it this year. I will have to take pictures for you.
Pretty pillows are a must!
for that cozy look!
Aw one of my favorites! A vintage crochet bedspread made into a swing cushion!
Blue Ticking with rose centers as pillows!
Shabby pink pillows!
On my shabby pink porch!
Slipcovers made from a variety of fabrics. Use your imagination! Go to you linen closet you may find just the fabric you are looking for in an old sheet or bedspread!
Did I tell you that I love old crocheted afghans? I use them for everything! Here you see a tablecloth!
Another Pretty fabric!
Christmas Porch!
A dress for your plastic chairs!
Well I am getting tired so I hope I inspired someone tonight!
xoxo

Very, very, very pretty! Everything is beautiful. I never knew you had the old wringer washer. I have my Mom's old wringer washer from the 1930s. I have it stored, but have intended to plant it with flowers. I can hardly wait to see what your flowers look like.
I love the look of your porch with the swing, plus the chamber pots (pottys) with beautiful flowers growing in them. I also have my Grandparents' old pot. I need to plant flowers in that, too. Thanks for the inspiration.

I've been following your blog for awhile but haven't commented. I appreciate your *realness* in the battle but also the HOPE you have. Keep it up but mostly keep your eyes on our great God- who is good and able!
